Overview

William is a member of the Firm’s Corporate Counsel Practice Group, where his practice focuses on taxation of individuals and business entities, general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, commercial and financial transactions, business succession planning and tax-exempt organizations.

In his practice, William routinely counsels business clients from a wide variety of industries, including, manufacturing, real estate, transportation, construction, private equity and professional services. William advises clients on a wide variety of tax planning matters, and has considerable experience representing clients before various federal, state and local taxing authorities such as the Internal Revenue Service, IRS Office of Appeals and Ohio Department of Taxation.

Prior to joining Graydon, William spent the majority of his career practicing at a mid-sized downtown Cincinnati law firm where he served on the firm’s management committee. William earned an LL.M. from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law (taxation); a J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law; and a B.A., summa cum laude, from Ohio University. William is admitted to practice in Ohio and Florida.
