Overview
Natalie M. Harbin is a member of the Firm’s Labor & Employment and Estate Planning Practice Groups, where her practice focuses on counseling clients on compliance with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and complex estate planning, estate and trust administration.
Prior to joining Bricker Graydon, Natalie worked as a Law Clerk at a Cincinnati-based law firm where she conducted litigation research and drafted estate planning documents. Before attending law school, Natalie assisted in coordinating employee hiring, accommodations, corrective action plans, and terminations at the corporate office of a large retail company. Natalie also has hands-on experience with commencing benefits under defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plans.
Natalie’s goal is to understand the unique needs of clients, identify an employer’s potential risks, and implement plans to mitigate exposure by ensuring compliance with applicable local and federal laws. With an appreciation for clients’ dedication to their businesses and wealth creation, she also strives to create well-thought out and intentional estate plans to fulfill clients’ objectives of passing legacies on to the next generation in a tax-conscious manner.
Natalie earned her JD from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and her BS from Xavier University. Outside work, Natalie enjoys golf, walks with her dogs and husband, skiing, traveling, reading a good book, and exploring areas of Cincinnati that she’s never been to before.
