Overview
Michael A. Petrecca, an accomplished attorney and Certified Public Accountant, serves as the Chief Financial Officer here at Bricker Graydon. With a distinguished career spanning law, accounting, and executive leadership, he brings a wealth of experience to his current role.
Petrecca's previous experience includes serving as Of Counsel to a prominent law firm, where he provided consulting services to the firm as it expanded its international footprint. Before retiring from a Big Four accounting firm in 2021, he was the Managing Partner of its Columbus office, a position he held for two decades. During this time, he specialized in tax structuring, planning, and compliance for closely held businesses and their owners, focusing on wealth preservation, succession planning, and estate transfers. He also guided emerging and high-growth companies in manufacturing, distribution, and technology sectors with tax and business consulting services. Petrecca also served as a Tax National Risk Management partner from 2014-2021, while at PwC.
Petrecca's commitment to community service is equally notable. He has served on advisory boards for several organizations, where he provided guidance on financial analysis and business strategy. As Chair of CAPA, he co-led the financial integration of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, and as Chair of the Columbus Museum of Art, he oversaw the opening of a major expansion, significantly enhancing the museum's exhibition capacity.

When not striving to sharpen his athletic skills, he enjoys working outdoors, gardening, and traveling with his wife and daughter.
