Overview

Matthew Watson, an attorney in Bricker Graydon’s Construction Group, has an experienced background in construction and commercial litigation, alongside extensive experience in various areas of law.

Prior to joining Bricker Graydon, Matthew was a Partner at a regional law firm, where he focused on litigation, particularly in the construction and commercial sectors. He also advised clients on healthcare and business law matters,  counseling clients on corporate structures, and preparing member resolutions. Earlier in his tenure at the firm, Matthew worked as an Associate Attorney, gaining comprehensive experience in client counseling and litigation support.

Matthew's legal foundation includes serving as an Assistant Prosecutor for the City of Bellefontaine, where he arraigned defendants, negotiated pleas, and gained significant trial experience prosecuting misdemeanor cases. His early career also involved legal research, drafting, and client management as an extern and law clerk at firms in Dayton and Mechanicsburg.

Matthew enjoys spending time with his wife, Alyssa and their son, Briggs. Matthew was also a member and past-president of the Urbana Rotary Club. When he is not having family time, you can find Matthew at the Woodland Golf Club in his native Cable, Ohio.
