Overview

Mariam is an attorney in Bricker Graydon’s Health Care practice group in downtown Columbus. She brings a dynamic perspective to her work, complemented by her dedication to community service and passion for advocacy.

Whether representing health care systems in administrative hearings, drafting and reviewing contracts, compiling HIPAA handbooks, assisting higher education clients with Title IX investigations or civil rights matters, Mariam approaches every case with thoughtfulness and strategic insight.

Before joining Bricker Graydon as an attorney, Mariam was a 2022 summer associate for the firm. She also previously served as a judicial intern for Judge Brian Edwards in the Jefferson County Circuit Court, where she developed a strong foundation in trial procedures and judicial decision-making, and as a legal intern for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Indiana.

Mariam is Fluent in Fulani (Futa Toro dialect) and enjoys learning French and spending time with loved ones in her free time.
