Outside The Office
Outside of work, Ihsan is a man of many passions. He enjoys singing, whether it’s at elite sporting events or belting out a tune during a lively karaoke night out with friends. Traveling and discovering new places also excite him, especially when it comes to sampling the latest culinary creations in the Cincinnati area—he’s always on the lookout for the newest dish to try.
It’s not unusual to spot Ihsan back at his local grade school, Winton Hills Academy, where he visits former teachers and mentors future leaders, sharing his time and talents to give back. For Ihsan, life is about connection—whether through faith, family, or community—and he lives it with passion and purpose.
Ihsan is deeply involved in his community, whether that is serving as an Elder at the Mt. Pisgah Church in Dayton, OH, where he helps curate leadership and faith experiences for young adults or by helping to cultivate spaces for Black men’s wellness through the Black. Dope. & All Good. Communal Healing Retreat for Black Men curated by the Diasporic Soul; family and friends are at the heart of his life; he cherishes time spent with his wife, Joy, and their playful Bernedoodle, Milo.
