This 13-page appendix replaces the 2016 Handbook for Campus Safety and Security Reporting, which has been rescinded. The Office of Postsecondary Education summarized major changes in its October 9, 2020, announcement of the new Appendix.

Handbook for Campus Safety and Security Reporting (Rescinded)
This handbook, released in June 2016 by the U.S. Department of Education and rescinded on October 9, 2020, offered specific examples and guidance on how to comply with the Clery Act. It has been replaced by the Clery Act Appendix to the FSA Handbook.
