Housing Development
A common theme that arises from all four corners of Ohio is whether and how the public sector and/or public-private partnerships can help address the lack of available housing inventory for workers and families.
Municipal Solutions
Bricker Graydon attorneys and consultants are viewed as go-to trusted advisors in public sector law. This hard-earned reputation for excellence spans decades representing governmental entities of all shapes and sizes in Ohio, the Midwest, and beyond.
We are focusing our significant legal and consulting resources on addressing the lack of available housing inventory for workers and families. We have formed an internal Housing Development working group to help local and state elected officials, community stakeholders, private developers, and employers deploy solutions to tackle housing shortages.
The Housing Development working group seeks to assist communities in attracting housing rehabilitation and construction. We do so by leveraging our deep knowledge of municipal solutions to advise governments, non-profits, and private developers in all legal aspects of housing development.
Our holistic approach – drawing on legal and nonlegal prowess from within the firm’s practice areas – provides communities with top-shelf advice in the following areas:
- County, Municipal, and Township Law
- Public Infrastructure, including water, sewer, roads, and utilities
- School Law
- Planning and Zoning Consulting
- Public Incentives, including developing new revenue sources
- Quasi-governmental / Special Purpose Entities, including New Community Authorities and County Land Banks
