Call to Ohio Higher Education Institutions, Local Governments, and Non-Profit Organizations – Grant Funding Now Available
WHAT
Ohio’s Grid Resiliency Program makes $2,000,000 in grant funding available for small-scale projects including the following:
- solar
- wind
- bioenergy
- geothermal
- microturbine
- battery storage
- others
Applicants may receive between $250,000 and $500,000 per project with a 10% local match required.
WHO
Eligible applicants include but are not limited to Higher Education Institutions, Local Governments, and Non-profit organizations located in the state of Ohio.
WHEN
Applications are due on June 28, 2024, at 4 PM ET.
WHERE
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
All eligible projects will require a 10% match of the grant funding. Matching fund sources can include other local, state, or federal grant dollars or other sources. A full breakdown of match funding and the source(s) will be required in the application process. You may consider combining this grant program with other programs including the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Financing, and other green energy tools.
