Ohio BWC Administrator stepping down

Governor Mike DeWine announced late Thursday, November 5, 2020, that Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) Administrator/CEO, Stephanie McCloud, has been asked to lead the Ohio Department of Health. John Logue, currently the Ohio BWC’s Chief of Strategic Direction, will take over as the new Administrator/CEO, effective November 16, 2020. 

It was also announced that Dr. Bruce Vanderhoff has been appointed as the state’s Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Vanderhoff currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at OhioHealth.
