Biennial budget passed in both Ohio chambers

The Conference Committee to H.B. 49 (FY18-19 Biennial Budget) unveiled the Conference Committee Report late Tuesday, June 27. After going through the 612 differences between the House and Senate versions of the budget, the Conference Committee favorably reported the Conference Committee Report to the House of Representatives and the Senate. On Wednesday, June 28, both chambers adopted the report. The Senate voted (24-8) to approve Ohio’s $65.6 billion budget for the next two years. The House voted (59-38) to approve the bill, as well. The final version of the bill is not yet public. We will continue to provide additional H.B. 49 details in the coming days.
