Scott Davis accepted into Calibr Global Leadership Network

Columbus, Ohio -- April 12, 2013 ... Scott Davis, partner in the Bricker & Eckler LLP Construction Group, has been accepted for membership in the Calibr Global Leadership Network – a selective professional organization that offers career and professional development, community service opportunities and points of connectivity for African-American business professionals.

Founded in 1999, the Calibr Global Leadership Network is a 501(c)(3) subsidiary of the Executive Leadership Council that was formed as a pipeline program to develop the next generation of executives. It provides members with coaching and mentoring sessions from ELC members, professional development training, corporate leadership opportunities and exposure to the business world.

Focusing his practice entirely on the construction industry including project delivery methods, contract issues, litigation and alternative dispute resolution, Davis regularly represents construction owners on design and workmanship claims involving roofing and building envelope systems. He has developed a niche practice advising hospitals on construction risk management and risk mitigation issues and contract negotiations. Prior to becoming an attorney, Scott worked for several construction companies, both in the field as a project engineer and as a construction estimator.

The Executive Leadership Council (ELC) is an independent, non-profit 501(c)(6) corporation founded in 1986, comprised of current and former African-American CEOs and senior executives at Fortune 500 and equivalent companies. For more than 25 years, the ELC has worked to build an inclusive business leadership pipeline and to empower African-American corporate leaders to make significant and impactful contributions in the global marketplace and their communities.
