Pramila Kamath Named to Lawyers of Color’s “Hot List” Early- to Mid-Career Minority Attorneys in the Midwest Region
COLUMBUS, OHIO, July 31, 2013 — Bricker & Eckler LLP is pleased to announced that associate Pramila Kamath has been recognized as one of Lawyers of Color (LOC) 100 early- to mid-career minority attorneys under 40 from the Midwest Region for its inaugural “Hot List.“
Pramila is a member of Bricker & Eckler's Litigation group and works out of the firm's Cincinnati-Dayton office. Her practice includes commercial litigation involving business torts, trade secrets and unfair competition claims, and breach of contract claims. She received her JD in 2009 from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in 2005.
The LOC Hot List honorees were chosen through a two-pronged process. The selection committee spent months reviewing nominations and researching bar publications and legal blogs in order to identify promising candidates. Nominations were accepted from mentors, peers and colleagues. Editorial picks were based on extensive research of attorneys who had noteworthy accomplishments or were active in legal pipeline initiatives.
Pramila and all the honorees were recognized at a reception hosted by the Quarles & Brady’s Chicago office and are profiled in Lawyers Of Color’s inaugural Hot List Special Issue (July 2013).
