Khouzam elected to The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers
Bricker employment attorney Joëlle Khouzam was recently elected to the prestigious College of Labor and Employment Lawyers as a new Fellow. This national group recognizes outstanding labor and employment lawyers who demonstrate professional and personal excellence. Membership is invitation-only and requires two member nominations, several colleague recommendations and a formal submission for consideration.
Joëlle is especially honored by her acceptance, as there are only 36 Ohio attorneys, and 6 Ohio women, within more than 1,400 total members. She will join the twenty-third installation of Fellows on November 10, 2018, in San Francisco.
The College was established in 1995 through an initiative of the Council of The Section of Labor and Employment Law of the American Bar Association as a free-standing organization to recognize distinguished leaders in the field.
Joëlle is a highly-regarded Columbus attorney with a practice emphasizing management and business owner counsel and defense. She has served as the Grandview Heights City Attorney since 2006 and chaired Bricker’s Diversity & Inclusion committee for four years. She has received many professional awards and speaking opportunities.
