Chris Jones and Christina Cross to present at Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance Event
Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance will host an Economic Development breakfast event on Friday, April 21, at 8:30 a.m. The event will take place at the Kenton Elks, located at 157 East Franklin Street, Kenton, OH.
Bricker Graydon attorney and Kenton resident Christina Cross will introduce featured presenter Chris Jones, a PACE financing consultant with the firm. PACE financing is an innovative financing option for energy efficiency and renewable energy commercial building improvements. The presentation will highlight the benefits of using PACE financing as an alternative to traditional credit lines.
One of the significant advantages of PACE Financing is that it does not require a personal or business guarantee. The repayment of the PACE loan is solely via a “special assessment” that is added to the property’s tax bill. Moreover, PACE loan term can be up to 30 years but cannot exceed the “useful life” of the improvements. PACE Financing can be used not only for existing building improvements but also for “ground-up” new construction.
The breakfast event is open to all Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance members and the general public and provides an excellent opportunity to network with local business leaders and learn about innovative financing options for commercial building improvements.
Registration for the event is required, and interested parties can RSVP through the Chamber’s website or by contacting the Chamber directly at 419.673.4131 or at hunderwood@hccba.com.
