Bricker welcomes finance attorney Chris Dusseau
Christopher J. Dusseau has joined Bricker & Eckler LLP as a partner in the law firm’s Banking & Financial Services group. With over a decade of experience representing a private equity fund in all aspects of its investment portfolio, he will join Bricker’s robust finance and real estate team, assisting clients with all aspects of finance and real estate transactions.
Dusseau comes to the firm from Rockbridge, where he served as the private equity firm’s senior vice president and corporate counsel since 2008. Throughout his time at Rockbridge, he represented the fund in the acquisition, financing, development, ownership and disposition of real estate assets primarily in the hospitality industry. Likewise, he played a significant role in the structuring, negotiating and documenting of Rockbridge’s loan transactions, including workouts and other loan restructurings.
“Chris will be an incredible asset to our firm’s nationally recognized finance practice,” said Bricker partner and practice group leader Dave Conrad. “His experience is unique and sophisticated, and he’s built strong relationships in central Ohio and beyond.”
A graduate of Upper Arlington High School, Dusseau is a member of the UA Rotary Club and is a graduate of Leadership Upper Arlington. He is well-known for his lacrosse accomplishments at both UAHS and the University of Notre Dame, where he was honored as an “All-American” player at both the high school and collegiate levels. Likewise, Dusseau was recently inducted into the Ohio Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
Dusseau is a 1999 graduate of Notre Dame and a 2003 graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law. He and his family reside in Upper Arlington, and he will operate out of the firm’s Columbus office.
