Bricker seeks 2016 Anniversary Gift applicants
Columbus, Ohio – Nonprofit organizations throughout Ohio are invited to submit applications for Bricker & Eckler LLP’s 2016 Anniversary Gift. Qualified 501(c)(3) organizations may submit proposals through the September 26, 2016, application deadline.
The Anniversary Gift is Bricker’s way of saying “thank you” to the communities that have stood behind the law firm for more than seven decades. Each year, Bricker celebrates its birthday by giving up to $25,000 to one or more charitable organizations that are making a difference by building initiatives that nurture people and improve neighborhoods.
This year, Bricker has chosen to focus on Education. As the largest and most comprehensive education law practice in Ohio, representing more than 200 public school districts across the state, the firm recognizes challenges that educational entities face and is looking to support programs that will have a genuine impact on this critical community need.
“Education is a cause our attorneys and staff have consistently championed over the years,” said Kurt Tunnell, the firm’s managing partner. “Balancing the needs of students and educators by providing a safe, healthy and enjoyable learning environment is a vital task that requires our support.”
Tunnell continued, “Because our firm has an established leadership role in addressing education issues, we believe it is our responsibility to support organizations that share a similar passion for creating a place where learning can flourish.”
Any Ohio 501(c)(3) verified charitable organization may apply. Requests from individual school districts and charter schools will not be considered. More information, including evaluation criteria and a link to the online application, can be found on our Anniversary Gift page.
