Bricker announces 2016 Anniversary Gift recipient

Donation focused on education and empowerment of girls

Bricker & Eckler’s 2016 Anniversary Gift in the amount of $25,000 will be awarded to Ruling Our Experiences (ROX). ROX is a nonprofit organization that provides empowerment programming to equip girls with the knowledge and skills necessary to live healthy, independent, productive and violence-free lives. This gift will be used to support girls' participation in the ROX 20-week evidence-based program in schools throughout the state of Ohio and will provide tools and resources for educators and parents to better connect with and support the girls in their lives.

Nonprofit organizations throughout Ohio were invited to submit applications for Bricker & Eckler LLP’s 2016 Anniversary Gift. Each year, Bricker celebrates the firm’s founding by awarding up to $25,000 to one or more non-profit organizations supporting a cause that will have a meaningful, long-lasting impact on the communities we serve.

This year, Bricker focused the donation on education-based initiatives. Many qualified charitable organizations submitted proposals, and the submissions this year were highly impressive and inspiring.
