Ballard quoted in Credentialing Resource Center “fair hearing” resources

Health care attorney Catherine Ballard was recently quoted in two articles educating Credentialing Resource Center members. The first article, titled “Prevail in fair hearing with these tips,” explores how medical staff professionals (MSPs) can support medical staff leaders throughout the fair hearing process. The second article, titled “Fair Hearing and corrective action basics” (membership required), provides an example that outlines the steps of a fair hearing. In both articles, Ballard gives insight into the fair hearing process, including specific suggestions for MSPs and their medical staff executive committees (MECs).
