Anthony receives AWI-CH designation
Education law attorney, Laura Anthony, recently achieved the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) Certificate Holder designation. AWI is a professional membership association for attorneys, human resource professionals, and other professionals who conduct, manage or have a professional interest in workplace investigations.
Laura has demonstrated success at achieving the core knowledge and skills necessary to successfully perform impartial workplace investigations. She completed the AWI Training Program and passed the testing assessment to achieve the Certificate Holder designation.
Clients view Laura as a strategic thinker and trusted advisor who is successful and adept in achieving early resolution of disputes by providing precise and careful counseling to clients. She has expanded her practice to now include conducting impartial workplace investigations involving allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other instances involving misconduct and disciplinary matters. Laura has defended school districts and other public entities against employment discrimination claims and serves as a mediator for disputes involving K-12 schools, colleges and universities and other public entities.
