Employee Sexual Misconduct Cases (Free Title IX In Focus Webinar Series)
Bricker Graydon is excited to unveil its newest FREE webinar series focused on issues related to sexual misconduct, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking.
The free Title IX In Focus Webinar Series is aimed at helping colleges and universities comply with annual training requirements under the Illinois Preventing Sexual Violence in Higher Education Act (110 ILCS 155/1 et seq.) and the Clery Act (34 CFR § 668.46), in addition to ensuring ongoing discussions about practical strategies, legal updates, and trauma-informed practices. Each webinar will be presented by a member of Bricker Graydon’s Higher Education team, and may feature guest speakers from our network of university partners, key government agencies, and seasoned professionals in the field of sexual misconduct and relationship violence. These one-hour webinars will be presented during the academic year and provide a total of eight hours of content between August and May.
February 2025 Session: Employee Sexual Misconduct Cases
Join us for a discussion of the intersection of Human Resources and sexual misconduct. This webinar will discuss issues related to state and federal employment laws, current regulatory authority, and guidance on sexual harassment and violence in higher education.
Although we had our Illinois friends in mind when developing this series, it is open to anyone employed by a college or university. Sessions will run from February 2024 through May 2025. If you would like to request specific content or are interested in serving as a guest speaker, please contact Jessica Galanos at jgalanos@brickergraydon.com.
