Prerequisites: All Level 2 Trainings in this series are designed to complement the foundational information provided in our Level 1 Title IX Trainings. Please complete a prerequisite Level 1 Title IX Training before attending any of the below Level 2 Title IX Trainings in this series.

Adjudicate with Confidence: Online Training for Title IX Hearing Officers

Navigating the complexities of Title IX hearings requires a solid understanding of the applicable regulations, procedures, and best practices. Our Fall 2024 online training for Title IX Hearing Officers offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to prepare you for the challenges of adjudicating cases, whether your campus is operating under the 2020 or 2024 Title IX Regulations. You'll learn how to manage hearings effectively, ensure due process, and make informed decisions based on evidence and policy. This live training via Zoom allows you to interact in real-time with experienced Title IX Hearing Officers about best practices, practical solutions to common hearing issues, and the reality of the hearing officer role.

Note: This training will also cover the live cross-examination hearing process required by the 2020 Title IX Regulations, as well as the two live hearing options permitted by the 2024 Title IX Regulations. The asynchronous grievance process outlined in the 2024 Title IX regulations, which may be conducted by the trained Title IX investigator assigned to a particular case, will be addressed in the Level 2 Title IX Investigator Training.


Level 2 Title IX Informal Resolution Training

Fostering Resolution and Understanding: Practical Training for Title IX Informal Resolution Facilitators
