In an era of scarce resources, taxpayers expect their school districts to collaborate with each other, with other local governments and non-profits in providing services and facilities. We will explore state and with federal laws applicable to such collaborations, with an emphasis on the construction, real estate and public finance aspects. We will also discuss such collaborations in the context of participating in an Ohio School Facilities Commission program.
