Statutory Bidding General Contractor Construction Projects

Assisted with the selection of a design professional following the statutory process, negotiation of the agreement for design services, and preparation of the construction contractor legal bidding documents. Advised during competitive bidding of general contractor and evaluation of bid submittals. Assisted with the statutory bidding process applicable to the work, and preparation of the construction contract, Board resolution, and related documents with the lowest responsible bidder. Projects included library roof renovations/replacements, façade repair, new maker space, children’s discovery renovation, chiller replacements, elevator repair/replacement, and others. Individual project values ranged from less than $100,000 to over $2 million.
