Trump nominates Trainor to fulfill FEC role

President Trump recently announced his nomination of attorney James Trainor to finish the six-year Federal Election Commission (FEC) term of Republican commissioner Matthew Peterson, who was nominated by President Trump to become a United States District Judge. Trainer is known as a “conservative Texas lawyer” who “has pushed for less regulation of money in politics.” Both Peterson and Trainor must be confirmed by the U.S. Senate. Read more >>
