FEC report reminder
The Federal Elections Commission (FEC) recently issued a reminder for those preparing their FEC reports due in July. Although funds may have been raised in June, unless they were received before the June 30, 2016, cut-off date, they should NOT be included in the July Quarterly or Monthly reports. Any contributions received in July should be included in the next report, even if the contribution was pledged, the check was written or the funds were postmarked in June.
