Cleveland Heights welcomes Eric Zamft as the city’s new planning director, replacing Richard Wong who is retiring after 30 years with the city, Cleveland.com reports. City Manager Susanna Niermann O’Neil said in a press release Zamft “has had an illustrious career for more than five years as a planning director and economic development director,” according to the article. She added that Zamft “also has expertise in transportation planning, comprehensive and master plan preparation, zoning analysis and code writing, as well as environmental review.” Zamft holds a master’s degree in City Planning-Land Use and Transportation from the University of Pennsylvania and is certified through the American Planning Association.
