Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber reports strong leads in 2013
The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber reports that an era of productivity and growth is sweeping the Mahoning Valley with the chamber working on "five projects likely to bring in $30 million in investment and jobs" since January, The Business Journal reports. $759 million worth of "projects in the pipeline" should translate into 1,200 new jobs in the 12-18 months, according to the report. Approximately half of the projects currently underway are related to the oil and gas industry, with others in food manufacturing and distribution, aluminum, and service-related industries, the article said.
