Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber releases annual economic development update
Released Tuesday, the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber's 2012 Economic Development Report Card "Valley Economic Update" found that last year, 12 regional agencies helped the Mahoning Valley create 1,641 new jobs and retain/maintain 5,553 jobs through their involvement in 118 projects that "resulted in investments totaling $406,542,576," the chamber announced. The combined resources of these agencies assisted businesses with tax incentives, grant oversight, project coordination, infrastructure investment, technical advisement and property development, among other services.
