Xenia City Council signs deal to remediate a 20-acre brownfield site

After five years of working to get the abandoned, 20-acre Hooven and Allison Cordage Co. brownfield site into useable condition, the City of Xenia signed a deal with Cleveland-based Environmental Management Specialists Inc. last week to remediate the property, Dayton Daily News reports.
