A new Bizjournals.com report found that with the addition of 100,000 jobs as of June 2012, Ohio “ranks as the fourth-best state in the country” and the top state in the Midwest for growing jobs, Dayton Business Journal reports. The article credited several projects for the upswing in jobs, including the expansion at General Electric Co. to accommodate a new research center planned for the University of Dayton, the opening of a new Caterpillar facility and the expansion of ConAgra Foods Inc.’s facility.
