The University of Cincinnati's new Technology Commercialization Accelerator opened a temporary workspace on Vine Street to facilitate commercialization projects while its permanent space, which is expected to be completed next year, is under construction, Cincinnati Business Courier reports. With funding from Ohio Third Frontier, CincyTech, the university's 2019 Entrepreneur Grand funds and "additional external sources," the accelerator aims to fill the gap that "naturally occurs" when university technologies are "too early stage to generate interest by those with investment dollars."
