Butler County will be the home of Topgolf International’s first Ohio facility, as the company begins its expansion in the Midwest with a planned three-level, 64,232-square-foot recreational entertainment facility in West Chester, the Dayton Daily News reports. The company broke ground on the project that will bring 450 jobs to the area when it opens next summer, according to the article. The complex will “offer competitive golfing games for all ages and skill levels and advanced technology to track players’ shots,” featuring “102 climate-controlled hitting bays that can host up to six players at one time and a fully-enclosed driving range.” Other amenities will include “an extensive food and beverage menu and up to 3,000 square feet of private event space.” Topgolf’s real estate vice president called West Chester “the perfect partner” for Topgolf, saying, it “exemplifies what Topgolf is looking for in a market,” due to its location convenient to both Cincinnati and Dayton, plus its “strong daytime population and demographics that align with our target audience.” For more, read the full article.
