Tanger Outlet mall developers say they will take the project and its tax benefits elsewhere should voters overturn its zoning

If residents in Delaware County's Berkshire Township vote to overturn zoning for the Tanger Outlets mall in November, the mall's developers said they will "petition to have the land planned for the facility annexed into another city," ABC6onyourside.com reports. Tanger officials said in a statement that they will consider either Sunbury or Columbus and that such a move "could also move tax dollars and other benefits from Berkshire to other municipalities."
