State of Ohio’s Employment Summary: September 2011

The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) released state figures this morning noting that Ohio’s unemployment rate was 9.1 percent in September, unchanged from the month of August. The number of workers unemployed in the state of Ohio in September was 534,000, down from 536,000 in August.

As noted in our October 14 blog post, the U.S. unemployment rate for September remained unchanged as well from August at 9.1 percent.
