Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine recently announced the release of the 2015 Ohio Economic Development Manual, the first single publication to outline “all of the various economic development laws and programs in the state,” according to a press release from his office. The manual is designed to be “a one-stop guide for businesses, elected officials, and economic development agencies who are interested in promoting business growth and job creation” by providing “overviews on Ohio laws, tax systems, funding sources, and agencies that play a role in economic development” in the state. DeWine said in the release, “[t]his manual provides a general framework of laws in Ohio that form the foundation of economic development policy, and it identifies some of the public and private programs that someone might want to consider when trying to attract or retain business in Ohio.” For more, including a link to a copy of the manual, click here.
