NOX Corporation, “an industry leader in the manufacturing of luxury vinyl tile flooring,” will open its first U.S. facility in the city of Fostoria in Northwest Ohio, bringing 150 jobs to the area, according to a recent Sentinel-Tribune article. The company will take over and renovate the former Atlas Crankshaft building for its U.S. plant. A $21 million investment will allow the facility to “improve production and delivery timing as well as service for North American customers.” NOX Corp., headquartered in South Korea, is forming NOX U.S., LLC as a joint venture with Roppe Corporation, “another commercial flooring business based in Fostoria.” JobsOhio, the Regional Growth Partnership and Fostoria Economic Development Corp. all worked on this project, the article reports.
