Thanks to a federal contract awarded two years ago, debt collection firm Reliant Capital Solutions LLC has big plans to grow its presence and workforce in Gahanna, Columbus Business First reports. Reliant “is planning to build new offices and double its headcount” as the company “begins work on a U.S. Department of Education contract,” according to the article. CEO Margie Brickner said, “[w]e have 100-plus people locally and we plan on doubling that in the next 18 months to two years,” explaining the need for a new 20,284-square-foot building. Brickner “said she will seek state and city payroll tax incentives for the expected new jobs.” Gahanna’s director of planning and development, Anthony Jones, said the project “is a retention and expansion project, which is where a lot of our job growth is coming from,” noting that Gahanna does not have a lot of available office space, and “[w]e want to make sure we’re a cost-effective place to expand.” For more, read the full article.
