President Obama announces "Insourcing American Jobs" forum

In his most recent weekly address, President Obama announced a forum called "Insourcing American Jobs" that will take place this Wednesday at the White House. The forum will focus on relocating or “insourcing” jobs back to the United States from abroad as a source of job creation as well as another mechanism to further energize the economy. "We'll hear from business leaders who are bringing jobs back home and see how we can help other businesses follow their lead," President Obama said.

The President also said that "our economy added 212,000 private sector jobs in December" and that the start of 2012 has "manufacturing on the rise and the American auto industry on the mend." For more read the full transcript of the president's weekly address here.
