Ohio's unemployment rate dropped slightly in November to 7.4 percent

According to data released by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODFJS), Ohio's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for November decreased 0.1 percent from its October rate of 7.5 percent. The U.S. unemployment rate dropped from 7.3 percent in October to 7.0 percent in November, which is down from 7.8 percent in November 2012. The number of unemployed workers in Ohio remained 427,000 during both October and November. During that time, the state's nonagricultural wage and salary employment decreased by 12,000.
