Ohio’s 90 one-stop employment centers rebranded as OhioMeansJobs

In an effort to immediately improve Ohio’s workforce development system, the Kasich administration has tied the state’s 90 one-stop employment centers into the OhioMeansJobs brand, which is a partnership between the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and the resume services company Monster Worldwide Inc., Columbus Business First reports. As part of this effort, the agency will encourage use of the OhioMeansJobs website as the “sole source for job searches and as a resource for applying for unemployment benefits,” the article said (see our November 28, 2012, blog post for more information).
