Ohio minimum wage increasing 30 cents in 2012

According to a recent article posted on toledoBlade.com, Ohio is joining seven other states in kicking off the New Year by putting more cash in minimum wage earners pockets.

The minimum wage in Ohio will increase 30 cents to $7.70, a bump of about $624 per year for a full-time minimum-wage employee, the article reports. Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Montana, Oregon, Vermont and Washington also are raising the minimum wage.
