Ohio exports up 11 percent in first half of 2012

Like many other leading exporting states, Ohio is experiencing “stronger export activity amid the improving U.S. economy,” Columbus Business First reports. Citing statistics from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration, there was an “11 percent improvement in Ohio, where exports totaled $24.62 billion through June, compared with $22.22 billion a year ago,” the article said.
