The U.S. Department of Commerce recently announced that Ohio's exports increased from $46.4 billion in sales in 2011 to $48.5 billion in sales in 2012, Dayton Business Journal reports. Of that total, Canada purchased $19.6 billion (40 percent) of Ohio's total exports, followed by Mexico, China, France and Brazil.
