Ohio Development Services Agency director discusses organizational changes
Christiane Schmenk, director of the Ohio Development Services Agency, discussed the functional differences between the agency and its former self, the Ohio Department of Development. Whereas the department worked to attract companies into the state and help major expansions, the agency’s role now is “to help service the incentives or engagements negotiated by JobsOhio, as well as to oversee what JobsOhio is doing,” Business Courier reports.
