Ohio Development Services Agency approves deadline extension for building rehabilitation project in Youngstown

Last week, the Ohio Development Services Agency's (DSA) Office of Redevelopment informed Strollo Architects that the agency has agreed to extend the completion deadline on the Wells Building rehabilitation project in downtown Youngstown, The Vindicator reports. DSA conditionally approved the extension due to the company's "significant progress toward financing the project and moving toward construction." Strollo Architects must finalize financing for the $5 million project, start construction by Dec. 31 and finish by Sept. 1, 2014, which gives the company six additional months to complete the project beyond the original April deadline. Upon meeting the new deadline, Strollo Architects will "receive $1.8 million in state and federal tax credits," the article said. For more, read the full story.
