Ohio Development Services Agency and Ohio University launch new solar supply chain database to promote Ohio manufacturing

The Ohio Development Services Agency’s Office of Energy partnered with the Ohio University Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs to develop a “new solar energy supply chain database project” that will allow solar industry supply chain companies to match their needs with Ohio manufacturers, a press release from the school announced. The navigable supply chain database uses a geocoded, interactive online map of Ohio companies engaged in the solar industry and is intended to “increase communication between stakeholders, act as a resource for businesses and the public, and identify potential growth areas which could lead to long-term growth,” the release said.
