The Ohio Development Services Agency (ODSA) is seeking partners for its Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) Program, which “supports small businesses by offering free counseling, workshops and trainings focused on creating jobs, increasing sales and gaining access to capital,” the Sidney Daily News reports. David Goodman, Director of the ODSA, said, “[n]inety-eight percent of businesses in Ohio are small businesses and they make up half of all private sector jobs. We want to work with business leaders who can provide the best customer service to Ohio small businesses.” Eligible groups include economic development organizations, nonprofit organizations, and educational institutions that have “strong experience in business and economic development,” according to the article.
