Norris named Canton’s new economic development director
Canton Mayor Thomas Bernabei has named Eugene Norris as the city’s next economic development director, CantonRep.com reports. In a press release, Bernabei said Norris “brings firsthand knowledge and experience of Canton and Stark County economic development needs, programming, relationships with economic development leaders in the community, and the personality and communication skills necessary to succeed,” according to the article. Norris, who most recently served as the program director for the Stark County Minority Business Association, “said he looks forward to finding new housing or economic development opportunities and assisting businesses interested in relocating to Canton.” For more, read the full article.
