New Youngstown Mayor John McNally plans to merge three city departments in an effort to streamline economic development activities

New Youngstown Mayor John McNally says that one of his top priorities is "restructuring the city's economic development efforts" by joining the economic development office, the planning and zoning department, and the Community Development Agency at City Hall, The Business Journal reports. McNally explains that this restructuring effort will increase the city’s efficiency and encourage communication among the entities. It also would enable the city to create a one-stop shop for business owners in need of economic development services.
